The Cooper Group were engaged to undertake to both manage the sale of our property and purchase of a suitable in town home. We found Debbie and the team to be respectful of our circumstances, realistic in the advice proffered and active in presenting the sale proposition and managing the purchase of the replacement property. The Smiths exceeded our expectations as sales agents. Having transacted in property a number of times we have dealt with several companies and many estate agents. Before retiring I carried out customer service / sales to many companies in NZ, Australia, Ireland and the UK. I have always been disappointed in the quality / ability of real estate agents, but Richard and Lisa were tops in all areas.
Most importantly to us they demonstrated every step of the way total sincerity. It wasn’t the “standard” real estate speak / spin, they were genuine, and it showed. From the outset their property evaluation proved accurate, not over promised. Their marketing strategy was fully explained in layman terms and made good sense. Within days of the first open home, we have three offers with one considerably higher than their estimate. This obviously left us very happy.
The buyer proved very demanding on some issues, but Richard and Lisa had the skills and good nature to take the pressure off and guide us through by providing the same sincere help to the buyer. But at the end of the day it was very clear they were working for us.
